Note:

Playful Paws Acreage location is best for dogs that are not well socialized, may be overstimulated or uncomfortable around large groups of dogs, or are not fixed (unspayed or unneutered over 8 months of age).

General Requirements For Registering Your Dog at Playful Paws Acreage

Registering your dog at Playful Paws Acreage is an easy three step process:

Step 1: Register with our office team.

Before the first visit, we do require all customers to speak with our office team to ensure all requirements are met. 

We also require all new clients fill out a contract and questionnaire to be completed before the first visit. You can pre-fill out the form below and email it to us at rural@playfulpawspetcenter.com or print it off and bring it with you upon arrival.

Step 2: Vaccination Info & Health Check

Every dog that visits Playful Paws must be vaccinated for the following:

  • Rabies

  • Distemper/Parvo (DAPP)

Recommended:

  • Bordetella (Kennel cough)

  • Flea, Lice & Tick Treatment 

Request this information from your veterinarian. It can be sent via email beforehand at reservation@playfulpawspetcenter.com or in person on or before the first visit. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance.

Other health requirements: 

  • Please make sure your dog is not currently experiencing any illness when bringing them to Playful Paws. We maintain regular cleaning to keep a health and safety environment.

  • Any injuries must be healed enough to avoid aggravating or opening any recent wounds.

Step 3: Temperamental Test & Trial Daycare Day

All dogs visiting our city location must:

  • Be comfortable around people and can be handled by staff.

  • Do not have destructive tendencies when in their individual space.

  • Human aggressive dogs are unable to stay at our facility
